Sarah Ryann Fortner
Senior
Sarah Ryann is a senior in the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College majoring in Psychology with minors in English, Disaster Science, and Political Science. Before joining the CDRC, Sarah Ryann worked with Dr. Young and Dr. Mendolia as an undergraduate research assistant at Ole Miss. Her current research interests within the CDRC include researching Community Based Psychological First Aid, purpose, and meaning in life as interventions in undergraduate populations. Within her major, Sarah Ryann serves as the chapter president of Psi Chi, a member of the Psychology Club, and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honors societies. After graduating in May of 2023, Sarah Ryann hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career in clinical psychology.
