Sarah Ryann Fortner

Sarah Ryann served as an undergraduate research assistant for the lab from 2022-2024. She graduated from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College with a major in Psychology and minors in English, Disaster Science, and Political Science in May 2023. Her Honors thesis investigated the feasibility and acceptability of an artificial intelligence-(AI) avatar- delivered community based psychological first aid programming in a university setting. Sarah Ryann is currently pursuing her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.
